A Spring Festival culture exchange event was held in Longhu international district on Feb 3, attracting foreign talents from many countries to participate.
The event included activities such as making rice balls, paper cuttings, and brewing healthy tea. This allowed international talents to learn more about Chinese culture, while promoting talent exchanges, as well as cooperation and development.
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) experts gave on-site lectures on health, and performed tai chi sword and qigong exercises. In addition, the TCM masters did on-site consultations and later gave the guests recipes to promote their health.
Traditional folk instruments were also played, and people shared their wishes for the new year during the tea ceremony.
Longhu international district is Guangzhou's first international block. It is home to international talents, and will continue to promote cultural exchanges in order to create a diversified and inclusive international environment.
It will promote mutual learning between China and foreign countries, and further attract more international innovative and entrepreneurial talents to live in Huangpu.
