Shanghai in East China has recently released the latest version of an action plan to optimize the city's business environment – and its Lin-gang Special Area is lending a helping hand.
A major part of the plan is to support key areas to lead innovation and to enhance the influence of the business environment.
The Pudong New Area, for one, is to set up a comprehensive business environment demonstration area, under which it will deepen and pilot many reforms and new regulations for building a better environment for businesses.
The Lin-gang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, meanwhile, is to establish itself as a highland for business environment systems innovation.
Last year, the Lin-gang Special Area realized the implementation of bonded maintenance projects in the field of electronics products with the overseas raw materials and sales market.
This year, the area is understood to be moving to further win the support of national ministries and commissions to get the approval of such bonded maintenance projects in fields such as automobiles, medical instruments and aviation engines.
At the same time, a second round of enterprises will be promoted to obtain qualifications for bonded oil filling for handling international sailing ships.
