During this year's Spring Festival holiday on Jan 21-27, the city of Guiyang - capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province - put on a raft of various fun cultural and tourism activities with strong festive vibes to attract tourists.
Statistics showed that during the seven-day holiday, Guiyang's 44 scenic spots received 1.24 million visits, a 43.2 percent increase on the previous year.
Four scenic spots received more than 100,000 visits each - Qianlingshan Park with more than 300,000 visits, Qingyan Ancient Town with more than 270,000 visits, Tianhetan Scenic Spot with about 140,000 visits and the Confucius Academy with more than 110,000 visits.
