A new online trading platform called FTZART – dedicated to the on-trend digital arts sector – was recently launched by the Shanghai International Antiques and Fine Art Trade Center, located in the city in East China.
Digital art refers to any artistic work or practice that uses digital technology as part of the creative or presentation process, or more specifically computational art that uses and engages with digital media.
The online display and trade in art has been further encouraged and supported in Shanghai in recent years. The new online platform is expected to further enhance the policy, resources and service advantages of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone – to chase the vision that "everyone is a collector".
The platform is committed to creating an online auction space for various digital arts from home and abroad. The digital artworks on the platform are not only real and verifiable, but also have the uniqueness of digital copyright.
Relying on block chain technology and the strong support of the copyright service of the Shanghai FTZ, the collector will enjoy the full copyright circulation qualification and rights of the digital artwork – including for commercial use – and can enjoy the continuous upgrading of the rights and interests of the work.
