Zhuhai citizens, especially those who are aerospace enthusiasts, are now able to visit Zhuhai Aerospace Land in Jinwan District, which officially opens to the public today, Jan 20.
The 40,000-sq-m (10-acre) Zhuhai Aerospace Land is China's first super-scale space center that exhibits the latest and eye-catching aerospace, aviation, and national defense products in China, such as a replica of its space station and the Long March rockets.
Located at the Zhuhai International Air Show Center, Zhuhai Aerospace Land was jointly invested in and built by the Zhuhai Huafa Group and Zhuhai Airshow Co under the umbrella of Zhuhai Municipal People's Government. It strives to be a science popularization base for youths, giving people a glimpse of future technologies.
It has eight themed exhibition areas, each of which has its own story line. There are intelligent interactive systems around the entire center, so that visitors can conveniently learn more about aerospace and national defense.
