SND's Medpark awarded for technological innovation

The Medpark in Suzhou New District won the 2022 Scientific and Technological Innovation Conference Annual Contribution Award for the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements category on Dec 8, 2022.

The 2022 Scientific and Technological Innovation Conference looks for outstanding innovation entities such as R&D institutions, colleges and universities, and technology-based industrial parks that have made outstanding contributions to the transformation of scientific and technological achievements across the country.

The Medpark is an important contributor to the development of high-end medical device innovation clusters in Suzhou New District. 

In 2022, the park attracted more than 300 medical device and biomedical projects, an increase of 53.7 percent year-on-year, with a total annual investment of more than 20 billion yuan.

Local officials said that Medpark will continue to strengthen its industrial competitiveness and help enterprises accelerate their progress toward the capital market. The park will develop into a demonstration zone for the innovative and integrated development of the medical device industry.
