Zhuhai completes grassroots projects worth 300m yuan+ in 2022

Zhuhai completed a total of 5,517 grassroots "micro projects" in 2022 worth the value of 353 million yuan ($51 million), achieving a high mass satisfaction rating of 99.7 percent.

The grassroots livelihood improvements made it onto the list of Zhuhai's Top 10 Livelihood Projects for 2022. Aiming to solve "trivial, urgent, and difficult things" concerning the community, they mainly focused on COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, safety development, and the establishment of a civilized city.

Among the 5,517 grassroots "micro projects" in 2022, 1,563 focused on engineering, 2,344 are related to goods, and 1,610 for services.

The city completed 798 projects to rectify hidden dangers in public security, 679 to renovate old residential communities, 395 to renovate roads, and 301 to install fitness and child entertainment facilities. All of them have remarkably improved the living environment for local residents.
