GDD adds another listed company

Sipai Health Technology, based in Guangzhou Development District (GDD), was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Dec 23. 

This brings the total number of listed enterprises in GDD to 77, which ranks the GDD in first place among the national economic development zones.

Sipai Health is a key pharmaceutical health unicorn project introduced by GDD. The New York Times once listed it among the "Global Top 50 Future Unicorns."

Sipai Health has formed a four-fold model consisting of medical, pharmaceutical, health insurance and data. It became China's leading integrated professional medicine and medical comprehensive service platform.

GDD actively introduces unicorn enterprises as well as specialized and sophisticated enterprises to realize its industrial chain.

Through the ecological shaping of industrial chains and supply chains, GDD establishes the advantages of efficient collaboration between upstream and downstream enterprises and provides a good environment for the growth of unicorn enterprises.

To date, there are nearly 40,000 small and medium-sized enterprises and more than 2,100 national high-tech enterprises in the GDD. There are also more than 100 specialized and sophisticated enterprises, and over 20 recognized unicorn enterprises in the area.
