The drama Hua Qiao Rong Ji (Rong’s Rice Noodle Restaurant by Huaqiao Bridge), which was adapted from one of famous writer Pai Hsien-yung's short stories, was staged at the Guilin Grand Theater on Dec 12, as part of the 2022 Guilin Festival. The tale was originally published in Pai's short story collection Taipei People in 1971.
