At present, all 55 centers and department stores, 101 large and medium-sized supermarkets, and 61 vegetable markets have restarted their offline businesses in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province, announced the Department of Commerce of Gansu Province.

"It's been a long time since I last got together with my friends. We plan to have a meal and buy some clothes", said Li at Wanda Plaza in Chengguan district on Dec 21.

The local media reporter recently visited the Lanzhou Asia-Europe Shopping Center, Hualian Shopping Center, Guofang Department Store and other shopping malls, discovering that they have all launched promotional activities to drive footfall.

Some provincial and municipal government leaders also conducted inspections of commercial and trade circulation enterprises in Lanzhou. As of Dec 18, 95 percent of the city's 1,169 companies wholesale, retail, accommodation and commercial and trade enterprises have resumed production. In addition, 202 auto sales companies, 44 key foreign trade companies, and logistics parks have restarted operations.

Accordingly, the province will continue to carry out promotional activities to stimulate consumption, as the New Year and Spring Festival consumption seasons approach.

Enterprises are urged to participate in exhibitions and attract investment outside the province, and promote the consumption of bulk commodities, such as automobiles, home appliances, and refined oil products. More efforts are called on to develop e-commerce and central kitchens in line with the new consumption model.
