Huizhou district to create model smart health base

The Huaze Yuanzang Huizhou smart healthcare project was launched with great expectations and ambitions on Dec 16 in the Huizhou district of Huangshan city, Anhui.

Senior local officials were bullish about the contribution that it would make to the community.

"Huizhou district boasts a high-quality natural ecosystem, profound cultural heritage and abundant tourism resources," said Huang Jie, member of the standing committee of Huizhou district.

"It is a paradise for the health industry," Huang added.

Huangshan city is the birthplace of Xin'an medicine, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine. Huizhou district boasts a long and distinguished history in developing Xin'an medicine and is home to a raft of famous doctors.

In recent years, Qiankou town in Huizhou district has developed the healthcare as its pillar industry and what's more has formed an integrated development pattern of multiple business forms.

The town was recognized as one of the "Top 50 Towns with Chinese Characteristics", as a "Provincial Health Town" and as a "Provincial Health Service Demonstration Park".

The Huaze Yuanzang Huizhou smart healthcare project covers health preservation, healthcare, medical treatment, tourism and culture.

It has built a systematic health management system integrating traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine and is understood to be committed to becoming a model smart health base.
