Addressing the excitement ignited by the World Cup in Qatar, artist Zhang Fuhua is holding an exhibition, The Ball Matters, simultaneously in three cities, namely in Beijing's 798 art zone, in Changsha, Hunan province, and in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
On show are paper art, comics, sculptures and design toys in which Zhang expresses the idea that the more people immerse themselves into a game, the more honest they will become.
In his work, Zhang discusses, in a playful way, the special atmosphere formed at a soccer game and how this long-standing event has helped shape social cultures and people's mentality. The exhibitions end on Tuesday.
