The 2022 Industrial Chain Development Summit of the Euro-Asia Economic Forum, hosted by the Xi'an municipal people's government, was held online in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Dec 15.
Li Mingyuan, mayor of Xi'an, attended the summit and delivered a speech via video link. The mayor first expressed his thanks to the entrepreneurs, experts, scholars and guests who attended the summit for their long-term support for the development of Xi'an.
He said that, in recent years, Xi'an has been striving to create a strong advanced manufacturing industry, and an advanced manufacturing cluster is beginning to take shape in the city.
Currently, Xi'an is in a critical period of becoming a national central city and promoting high-quality development, the mayor added. The city welcomes all entrepreneurs and friends to invest in the city, and it will continue to introduce more support policies for industrial development and promote the early start and production of contracted projects.
The summit adopted a "1+4" model, which consisted of one keynote forum and four high-quality dialogues on industrial chains.
The theme of the keynote forum was "industrial empowerment, linking the future", while the four dialogues focused on the industrial chains of new energy passenger vehicles, solar photovoltaics, biomedicine, and titanium and titanium alloys.
