On Dec 10, 4,506 patients were released from hospital after being cured (74 imported cases; 4,432 indigenous cases, 1,980 in Guangdong province, 515 in Beijing municipality, 270 in Sichuan province, 246 in Chongqing municipality, 206 in Yunnan province, 188 in Zhejiang province, 150 in Heilongjiang province, 130 in Guizhou province, 95 in Shanxi province, 92 in Henan province, 85 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 60 in Fujian province, 58 in Jiangsu province, 46 in Hainan province, 44 in Liaoning province, 43 in Shaanxi province, 35 in Shandong province, 35 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 33 in Shanghai municipality, 33 in Hunan province, 31 in Qinghai province, 16 in Jilin province, 16 in Hubei province, 13 in Hebei province, 5 in Anhui province, 3 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Jiangxi province and 1 in Tibet autonomous region). 228,737 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. As of 24:00 on Dec 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 28,161 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 27,673 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 488 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Dec 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 363,072 confirmed cases and 5,235 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 318,446 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 39,391 confirmed cases (including 155 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 14,936,673 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 1,060,781 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Dec 10, 8,930,363 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 473,347 in Hong Kong (10,935 had died and 102,457 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 912 in Macao (6 had died and 794 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,456,104 in Taiwan (14,641 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
