Over the first 10 months of this year, WEDZ registered 9.14 billion yuan ($1.3 billion) in automobile product retail sales above a designated size, a year-on-year increase of 147.3 percent. Among them, the retail sales of NEV were 5.96 billion yuan, up 531.3 percent over the same period last year.
VOYAH – Dongfeng's premium NEV brand, for example, took only three years to enter the European market as the first State-owned NEV brand to go global. Statistics show that from August 2021 till now, VOYAH has delivered 24,471 cars to consumers. This month, VOYAH will reportedly roll out its first sedan.
WEDZ has been coordinating its socioeconomic development in line with COVID-19 prevention and control policies. A slew of car purchasing incentive policies have been launched by the zone to spur local vehicle consumption.
