As of 24:00 on Dec 3, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 27,761 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 27,104 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 657 confirmed cases (including 1 case in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Dec 3, the National Health Commission had received reports of 336,165 confirmed cases and 5,235 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 290,702 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 40,228 confirmed cases (including 111 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 13,798,282 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 2,022,750 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Dec 3, 8,819,804 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 462,774 in Hong Kong (10,790 had died and 99,991 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 813 in Macao (6 had died and 791 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,356,217 in Taiwan (14,449 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
