On Nov 27, 2,103 patients were released from hospital after being cured (57 imported cases; 2,046 indigenous cases, 982 in Guangdong province, 231 in Beijing municipality, 213 in Chongqing municipality, 152 in Sichuan province, 84 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 67 in Shanxi province, 56 in Henan province, 50 in Yunnan province, 40 in Shaanxi province, 29 in Jiangsu province, 23 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 16 in Zhejiang province, 16 in Hunan province, 12 in Liaoning province, 12 in Guizhou province, 10 in Heilongjiang province, 9 in Shandong province, 8 in Hebei province, 8 in Fujian province, 8 in Hainan province, 5 in Gansu province, 5 in Qinghai province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Anhui province, 2 in Hubei province and 2 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region). 207,918 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases decreased by 7.

As of 24:00 on Nov 27, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 27,431 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 26,650 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 781 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 27, the National Health Commission had received reports of 311,624 confirmed cases and 5,233 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 273,262 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 33,129 confirmed cases (including 104 cases in serious condition) and 30 suspected cases. 12,072,501 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 1,851,120 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Nov 27, 342,488 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,692 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 27, 8,724,915 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 456,398 in Hong Kong (10,692 had died and 98,227 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 797 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,267,720 in Taiwan (14,235 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
