On Nov 24, 1,752 patients were released from hospital after being cured (50 imported cases; 1,702 indigenous cases, 980 in Guangdong province, 162 in Chongqing municipality, 129 in Beijing municipality, 116 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 91 in Sichuan province, 42 in Shanxi province, 39 in Henan province, 19 in Shaanxi province, 15 in Guizhou province, 15 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 14 in Jiangsu province, 12 in Yunnan province, 10 in Gansu province, 9 in Fujian province, 9 in Qinghai province, 7 in Hebei province, 6 in Hunan province, 5 in Heilongjiang province, 4 in Zhejiang province, 4 in Shandong province, 4 in Hainan province, 4 in Tibet autonomous region, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Hubei province, 1 in Liaoning province and 1 in Anhui province). 144,352 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. As of 24:00 on Nov 24, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 27,227 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 26,492 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 735 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case.

As of 24:00 on Nov 24, the National Health Commission had received reports of 300,619 confirmed cases and 5,232 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 267,223 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 28,164 confirmed cases (including 121 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 11,178,362 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 1,527,908 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Nov 24, 8,681,368 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 453,577 in Hong Kong (10,647 had died and 97,338 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 796 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,226,995 in Taiwan (14,125 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
