Poverty alleviation workshop creates jobs for relocated people

In the early morning, the workers in Zhenyuan Garment Factory of Cili County, located in Longtan Community, Longtanhe Town, began a busy day with the rapid operation of sewing machines.

As far as you can see, the working procedures are operated in order while the packed clothes are piled neatly, which show the daily production scene of the poverty alleviation and relocation workshop in Longhetan Town.

The person in charge of the workshop said that the Zhenyuan Garment Factory was registered in July 2017. It is a clothing factory mainly with the production of outdoor jackets and down jackets.

In 2018, in order to help people relocated for poverty alleviation to achieve employment at home, the County Agricultural and Rural Bureau, working with the Longtanhe Town People's Government, made several field visits and then decided to list the factory as a poverty alleviation workshop.

In order to further expand production capacity and improve the efficiency, it also adopted the model of benefit-sharing compensation for relocated households, investing 999,000 yuan to build a production workshop.

At present, the workshop, covering an area of 1,000 square meters and equipped with more than 140 advanced clothing machines, sets up 2 production lines and solves the employment problem of 65 people, of whom 34 are from relocated households.

Longtanhe Town has been expanding the employment channels to alleviate poverty in a bid to effectively achieve the goal of employment at home for rural surplus labor force.

Focusing on building poverty alleviation workshops to let more relocated people become industrial workers, it has also been striving to realize the dream of getting rich from employment for relocated people.
