On Nov 22, 1,385 patients were released from hospital after being cured (61 imported cases; 1,324 indigenous cases, 580 in Guangdong province, 175 in Henan province, 139 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 138 in Chongqing municipality, 80 in Beijing municipality, 71 in Shanxi province, 41 in Sichuan province, 13 in Yunnan province, 11 in Shandong province, 10 in Jiangsu province, 9 in Qinghai province, 9 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 8 in Guizhou province, 6 in Heilongjiang province, 6 in Hunan province, 6 in Shaanxi province, 5 in Zhejiang province, 5 in Fujian province, 4 in Hainan province, 3 in Gansu province, 2 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Shanghai municipality and 1 in Anhui province). 171,753 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. As of 24:00 on Nov 22, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 27,082 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 26,375 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 707 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 22, the National Health Commission had received reports of 293,506 confirmed cases and 5,231 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 263,645 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 24,630 confirmed cases (including 113 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 10,669,044 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 1,313,526 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Nov 22, 247,193 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,298 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 22, 8,645,312 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 451,444 in Hong Kong (10,623 had died and 96,701 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 796 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,193,072 in Taiwan (14,029 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
