A remote medical consultation platform in the Baqiao district of Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, has established a smart diagnosis and treatment system covering levels of districts, towns and villages. It now radiates out to five secondary hospitals, six community medical service centers, 14 medical service stations and 163 village clinics.
The platform can be used in online training, long-range electrocardio-monitoring, tele-imaging, and other areas.
People can have access to free treatment and diagnosis services from medical experts at tertiary class-A hospitals by scanning the "健康灞桥" QR code. They can also check other related information, such as their appointments, service records and physical tests by following the official WeChat account "健康灞桥".
After three years of operation, the platform has so far fulfilled 10,294 outpatient service orders, 8,455 long-range electrocardio-monitoring orders, 21,690 tele-imaging and 3,195 remote diagnosis orders.
The cloud medical patrol bus is another way for people to enjoy door-to-door medical services. The patrol bus is equipped with blood analyzers, electronic manometers, and other medical instruments, making it possible for people to carry out 49 types of physical tests.
There are 10 such buses running in the Baqiao district. After the physical examination, people can check their results on a special big data platform.
