Baotou becomes home to 2 more national education bases

The Chinese Association for Science and Technology recently announced the first group of national science popularization education bases in 2021-25, which included Baotou Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology and Baotou Youth Development Center.

At present, Baotou is home to three national science popularization education bases and 35 Inner Mongolia autonomous region-level science popularization education bases.

The science popularization education base is a demonstration zone open to the public and an important vehicle for science popularization. 

Moving forward, the municipal association for science and technology will take the base as a platform to create a new brand of "science popularization Baotou" activities as well as promote science popularization efforts.
