Baotou honored China's Leading Smart City

In the recent smart city selection of the 24th China Hi-tech Fair, Baotou was honored as the "2022 Leading Chinese Smart City" due to its achievements in constructing a smart city big data platform and resident information management platform.

In recent years, the city has made strong efforts to become a smart city as well as gather and share government data, making residents’ lives more convenient and government services more efficient.

To date, the Baotou smart city big data platform has accessed data related to 300 types of government affairs from 42 regions and departments, gathered 88.31 million pieces of data, and formed 122 million pieces of data assets.

In addition, the platform has also provided sharing services to 18 departments in the city, sharing information 96.66 million times.

Next, the city will continue to use new-generation information technology such as big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, and continue to promote the construction of a smart city big data platform.
