On Nov 19, 1,146 patients were released from hospital after being cured (43 imported cases; 1,103 indigenous cases, 691 in Guangdong province, 93 in Chongqing municipality, 87 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 69 in Beijing municipality, 33 in Sichuan province, 23 in Hunan province, 20 in Shanxi province, 12 in Fujian province, 12 in Shandong province, 11 in Liaoning province, 11 in Henan province, 11 in Shaanxi province, 6 in Yunnan province, 6 in Qinghai province, 6 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 3 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Heilongjiang province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Guizhou province, 2 in Gansu province and 1 in Hebei province). 115,844 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 8.

As of 24:00 on Nov 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 26,836 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 26,209 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 627 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 19, the National Health Commission had received reports of 286,197 confirmed cases and 5,227 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 260,141 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 20,829 confirmed cases (including 95 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 10,002,167 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 1,105,680 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Nov 19, 189,669 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,053 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 19, 8,596,257 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 448,671 in Hong Kong (10,586 had died and 95,923 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 796 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,146,790 in Taiwan (13,907 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
