On Nov 15, 751 patients were released from hospital after being cured (68 imported cases; 683 indigenous cases, 265 in Guangdong province, 222 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 44 in Beijing municipality, 27 in Chongqing municipality, 17 in Fujian province, 13 in Shanxi province, 13 in Sichuan province, 12 in Henan province, 12 in Hunan province, 11 in Shaanxi province, 8 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 7 in Jiangsu province, 6 in Shandong province, 5 in Liaoning province, 5 in Heilongjiang province, 5 in Yunnan province, 3 in Gansu province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Qinghai province, 1 in Shanghai municipality and 1 in Guizhou province). 114,392 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 8.

As of 24:00 on Nov 15, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 26,545 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 26,020 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 525 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 15, the National Health Commission had received reports of 277,043 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 256,472 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 15,345 confirmed cases (including 29 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 9,362,541 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 921,848 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 15, 2,991 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (112 imported cases; 2,879 indigenous cases, 1,310 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 381 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 271 in Guangdong province, 268 in Henan province, 117 in Qinghai province, 80 in Hubei province, 76 in Shandong province, 49 in Fujian province, 42 in Hebei province, 37 in Heilongjiang province, 35 in Yunnan province, 33 in Sichuan province, 23 in Tianjin municipality, 23 in Shanxi province, 23 in Shaanxi province, 22 in Chongqing municipality, 21 in Liaoning province, 14 in Beijing municipality, 14 in Hunan province, 11 in Jiangsu province, 7 in Tibet autonomous region, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 5 in Anhui province, 4 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Jilin province, 1 in Guizhou province, 1 in Gansu province and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region). 461 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 11 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Nov 15, 121,499 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 975 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 15, 8,515,278 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 445,041 in Hong Kong (10,549 had died and 94,803 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 795 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,069,442 in Taiwan (13,645 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
