The Fifth Hebei International Industrial Design Week (HIDW) opened on Thursday at the Business and Service Convention Center of the Xiong’an New Area, Hebei Province.
During the seven-day run online and offline, the event is to host a variety of exhibitions and activities. With endowing the futuristic city with new designs as the theme, the event will host a dozen activities including the opening ceremony, keynote speeches, the Xiong’an design forum and the release of international new designs.
It aims to gather globally high-end design resources to push the deep fusion of Hebei Industrial Designs with industries, cities, technology, culture and innovation.
The industrial design innovation achievements exhibition covers 6000 square meters, co-curated by British Master Modern Design Curator Matthew Jones and Chairwoman of the Hebei Industrial Design Center (HIDC) FENG Changhong. On display are more than 3000 pieces of exhibits, including those from South Korea, USA, the UK, China’s Taiwan, Hongkong, original new design products from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and other parts of the country, as well as exquisite designs from the Netherlands.
In collaboration with the TikTok E-commerce platform, the exhibition will host an original design branding festival, live-streaming marketing and provide services in marketing the best global design products and products of exhibitors so as to bring the functions of exhibitions and trading platforms to the maximum and start the cloud terminal for Hebei’s industrial design economy open to the rest of the world.
