Every year during autumn, the Shi Kefa Memorial House in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province becomes a magnet for tourists and local residents because of its ancient osmanthus tree.
During this season, the tree, which is more than 120 years old, adorns the pavements with its golden flowers that emit a sweet scent that fills the area.
The ancient gingko trees near the memorial house also add to the splendid scenes, forming a sea of gold that lights up the landscape.
Named after a prominent politician in the Ming Dynasty (1573-1619), the memorial house is a major historical and cultural site under national level protection.
