On Nov 6, 276 patients were released from hospital after being cured (62 imported cases; 214 indigenous cases, 61 in Guangdong province, 36 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 25 in Tibet autonomous region, 20 in Shanxi province, 13 in Beijing municipality, 13 in Shaanxi province, 7 in Fujian province, 7 in Chongqing municipality, 7 in Sichuan province, 5 in Tianjin municipality, 4 in Qinghai province, 3 in Heilongjiang province, 3 in Jiangsu province, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 1 in Hebei province, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Guizhou province). 82,733 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 1.

As of 24:00 on Nov 6, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 26,105 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 25,601 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 504 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 6, the National Health Commission had received reports of 264,123 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 252,280 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 6,617 confirmed cases (including 30 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 8,328,964 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 683,516 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 6, 906 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (145 imported cases; 761 indigenous cases, 124 in Guangdong province, 103 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 100 in Heilongjiang province, 50 in Shaanxi province, 43 in Yunnan province, 40 in Qinghai province, 36 in Hubei province, 34 in Sichuan province, 33 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 25 in Shandong province, 24 in Tianjin municipality, 21 in Shanxi province, 19 in Hebei province, 14 in Shanghai municipality, 13 in Zhejiang province, 13 in Chongqing municipality, 12 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 11 in Jiangsu province, 11 in Fujian province, 9 in Tibet autonomous region, 7 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 6 in Jilin province, 5 in Anhui province, 2 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Gansu province, 1 in Liaoning province and 1 in Henan province). 64 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 4 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Nov 6, 35,255 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,097 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 6, 8,326,960 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 438,627 in Hong Kong (10,470 had died and 92,863 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 795 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,887,538 in Taiwan (13,198 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
