On Nov 4, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 657 new cases of confirmed infections (61 imported cases, 18 in Fujian province, 9 in Guangdong province, 8 in Sichuan province, 6 in Shanghai municipality, 4 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Tianjin municipality, 3 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Hunan province, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Shaanxi province, including 7 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 4 in Sichuan province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Fujian province and 1 in Hunan province; 596 indigenous cases, 219 in Guangdong province, 75 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 61 in Shanxi province, 44 in Fujian province, 39 in Chongqing municipality, 37 in Beijing municipality, 34 in Hunan province, 20 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 17 in Shaanxi province, 13 in Sichuan province, 9 in Henan province, 9 in Yunnan province, 6 in Heilongjiang province, 4 in Jiangsu province, 3 in Liaoning province, 3 in Shandong province, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Guizhou province and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, including 133 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 59 in Guangdong province, 40 in Fujian province, 9 in Sichuan province, 7 in Shaanxi province, 5 in Shanxi province, 4 in Heilongjiang province, 3 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Chongqing municipality, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Guizhou province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On Nov 4, 251 patients were released from hospital after being cured (58 imported cases; 193 indigenous cases, 46 in Guangdong province, 31 in Shaanxi province, 26 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 18 in Shanxi province, 11 in Hunan province, 10 in Beijing municipality, 8 in Zhejiang province, 8 in Sichuan province, 6 in Anhui province, 6 in Chongqing municipality, 4 in Heilongjiang province, 4 in Fujian province, 4 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 3 in Shandong province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Qinghai province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Yunnan province and 1 in Gansu province). 76,308 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained the same.

As of 24:00 on Nov 4, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 26,009 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 25,479 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 530 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 4, the National Health Commission had received reports of 262,966 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 251,737 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 6,003 confirmed cases (including 30 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 8,164,898 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 675,980 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 4, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 3,180 new asymptomatic cases (117 imported cases; 3,063 indigenous cases, 669 in Guangdong province, 484 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 451 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 338 in Hunan province, 214 in Heilongjiang province, 159 in Shanxi province, 131 in Henan province, 118 in Qinghai province, 77 in Shandong province, 65 in Gansu province, 61 in Hubei province, 58 in Yunnan province, 56 in Fujian province, 41 in Chongqing municipality, 28 in Hebei province, 27 in Sichuan province, 21 in Liaoning province, 15 in Shaanxi province, 11 in Jiangsu province, 9 in Tianjin municipality, 6 in Jilin province, 5 in Beijing municipality, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 5 in Zhejiang province, 5 in Tibet autonomous region, 2 in Guizhou province and 2 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region).

On Nov 4, 866 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (126 imported cases; 740 indigenous cases, 129 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 126 in Guangdong province, 76 in Shaanxi province, 51 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 44 in Qinghai province, 34 in Sichuan province, 33 in Hubei province, 26 in Shandong province, 25 in Gansu province, 24 in Shanghai municipality, 22 in Tianjin municipality, 21 in Hunan province, 14 in Shanxi province, 14 in Heilongjiang province, 14 in Zhejiang province, 13 in Hebei province, 13 in Yunnan province, 12 in Chongqing municipality, 9 in Jiangsu province, 9 in Fujian province, 9 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 8 in Anhui province, 4 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 3 in Jilin province, 2 in Liaoning province, 2 in Henan province, 2 in Tibet autonomous region and 1 in Jiangxi province). 140 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 7 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Nov 4, 28,034 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,110 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 4, 8,275,792 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 437,339 in Hong Kong (10,439 had died and 92,378 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 795 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,837,658 in Taiwan (13,084 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
