Over the past year, Huo Chunguang of Jilin province has photographed trains every day as they passed on the Changchun-Hunchun high-speed railway in Jilin province.
The line officially opened in September 2015.
Dubbed as the most beautiful high-speed rail line in Northeast China, it gives travelers views of a series of scenic spots, including Changbai Mountain, Songhua Lake, Yanming Lake and Fangchuan township.
Last year, Huo moved to a new apartment in a residential community near the Changchun-Hunchun rail line in Changchun and had the idea of keeping a daily record of passing trains.
Huo, 63, a railway worker of China Railway Shenyang Group working in Changchun, has photographed high-speed trains since the Changchun-Jilin high-speed line — the first in Northeast China — opened in 2011.
Over the past 12 years, he has traveled to all high-speed railway lines across Jilin, recording various scenes in different seasons and making a historical record of rapid development and great changes to the local economy.
