On Nov 3, 324 patients were released from hospital after being cured (49 imported cases; 275 indigenous cases, 94 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 47 in Guangdong province, 28 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 23 in Shanxi province, 17 in Beijing municipality, 17 in Shaanxi province, 9 in Chongqing municipality, 9 in Sichuan province, 6 in Hunan province, 3 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Qinghai province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Liaoning province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Anhui province, 2 in Fujian province, 2 in Henan province, 1 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Hubei province, 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Guizhou province, 1 in Yunnan province and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region). 63,112 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 3.

As of 24:00 on Nov 3, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 25,948 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 25,421 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 527 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 3, the National Health Commission had received reports of 262,309 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 251,486 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 5,597 confirmed cases (including 30 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 8,087,624 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 675,973 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 3, 868 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (83 imported cases; 785 indigenous cases, 209 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 109 in Guangdong province, 64 in Sichuan province, 61 in Shaanxi province, 56 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 46 in Hubei province, 37 in Qinghai province, 30 in Tianjin municipality, 29 in Shanxi province, 25 in Shandong province, 15 in Anhui province, 14 in Shanghai municipality, 12 in Yunnan province, 11 in Heilongjiang province, 9 in Chongqing municipality, 8 in Hunan province, 8 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 7 in Jiangsu province, 7 in Fujian province, 6 in Henan province, 5 in Hebei province, 5 in Gansu province, 4 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Liaoning province, 2 in Tibet autonomous region, 1 in Jilin province, 1 in Guizhou province and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region). 76 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 5 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Nov 3, 25,860 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,126 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 3, 8,247,806 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 436,934 in Hong Kong (10,428 had died and 92,073 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 795 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,810,077 in Taiwan (13,010 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
