Chinese electric car startup IM Motors, backed by e-commerce giant Alibaba, launched two performance versions of its L7 sedan on Tuesday.
The L7 Snake Performance Lite and the L7 Snake Performance are the works of the carmaker's performance car unit IM Motorsport.
The four-wheel-drive, dual-electric motor car has a maximum output of 445 kW and a top torque of 730 Nm. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/hour in 3.7 seconds.
"Our goal is to build electric vehicles that offer the best driving and handling experience," said Liu Tao, co-CEO of IM Motors.
IM Motors is one of the youngest carmakers in China. Established in December 2020, it is a parternship among SAIC Motor, Alibaba and Shanghai's Zhangjiang Group.
