Direct flights between Tianjin, Belgrade to open in Dec

A new air route connecting Tianjin and Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is scheduled to open in December.

It will be the first regular passenger direct flight between the two cities, and the second direct flight between the two countires.

Luan Jianzhang, director of Tianjin’s Foreign Affairs Office, said “Tianjin is a pivotal city along the Belt and Road. Belgrade is a transportation hub. Therefore the opening of the direct flight is crucial in cooperation between Tianjin, its neighboring cities and regions around the Bohai Sea, and Central and Eastern European countries.”
