On Nov 1, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 465 new cases of confirmed infections (56 imported cases, 18 in Fujian province, 10 in Guangdong province, 8 in Shanghai municipality, 7 in Sichuan province, 5 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Yunnan province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Zhejiang province and 1 in Shandong province, including 12 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 6 in Fujian province, 3 in Sichuan province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Liaoning province and 1 in Zhejiang province; 409 indigenous cases, 125 in Guangdong province, 64 in Henan province, 39 in Fujian province, 30 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 28 in Beijing municipality, 24 in Shanxi province, 24 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 13 in Chongqing municipality, 12 in Heilongjiang province, 10 in Hunan province, 8 in Jiangsu province, 8 in Shaanxi province, 8 in Qinghai province, 4 in Shandong province, 4 in Sichuan province, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Liaoning province, 1 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Hubei province and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, including 69 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 32 in Fujian province, 19 in Guangdong province, 7 in Chongqing municipality, 4 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Heilongjiang province, 2 in Yunnan province, 2 in Shaanxi province and 1 in Sichuan province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On Nov 1, 249 patients were released from hospital after being cured (63 imported cases; 186 indigenous cases, 31 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 26 in Beijing municipality, 16 in Guangdong province, 11 in Tianjin municipality, 11 in Liaoning province, 11 in Yunnan province, 11 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 10 in Shanxi province, 10 in Sichuan province, 10 in Shaanxi province, 9 in Jiangsu province, 7 in Chongqing municipality, 5 in Hunan province, 4 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Henan province, 3 in Gansu province, 3 in Qinghai province, 2 in Fujian province, 1 in Shandong province, , 1 in Tibet autonomous region and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region). 59,822 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 4.

As of 24:00 on Nov 1, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 25,845 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 25,315 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 530 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 1, the National Health Commission had received reports of 260,971 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 250,891 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 4,854 confirmed cases (including 28 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 7,911,042 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 626,267 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 1, 818 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (136 imported cases; 682 indigenous cases, 128 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 114 in Tibet autonomous region, 58 in Shaanxi province, 51 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 41 in Guangdong province, 39 in Tianjin municipality, 28 in Sichuan province, 27 in Yunnan province, 25 in Jiangsu province, 20 in Shanxi province, 20 in Shandong province, 20 in Hubei province, 17 in Shanghai municipality, 13 in Hebei province, 13 in Jilin province, 11 in Hunan province, 10 in Chongqing municipality, 7 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 6 in Liaoning province, 5 in Beijing municipality, 5 in Zhejiang province, 5 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 5 in Qinghai province, 3 in Anhui province, 3 in Henan province, 3 in Guizhou province, 2 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Jiangxi province and 1 in Gansu province). 81 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 12 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Nov 1, 21,734 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,103 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 1, 8,183,396 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 435,632 in Hong Kong (10,410 had died and 91,683 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 795 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,746,969 in Taiwan (12,876 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
