On Oct 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 338 new cases of confirmed infections (41 imported cases, 8 in Fujian province, 7 in Beijing municipality, 6 in Shanghai municipality, 6 in Guangdong province, 3 in Tianjin municipality, 3 in Jiangsu province, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Sichuan province, including 3 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Guangdong province and 1 in Sichuan province; 297 indigenous cases, 126 in Shanxi province, 45 in Guangdong province, 35 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 19 in Beijing municipality, 13 in Fujian province, 12 in Shaanxi province, 9 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 8 in Hunan province, 7 in Chongqing municipality, 4 in Tianjin municipality, 4 in Yunnan province, 3 in Anhui province, 3 in Henan province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Qinghai province, 1 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Sichuan province and 1 in Tibet autonomous region, including 11 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Shaanxi province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Shanxi province, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Hunan province, 1 in Sichuan province, 1 in Qinghai province and 1 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On Oct 25, 287 patients were released from hospital after being cured (55 imported cases; 232 indigenous cases, 37 in Guangdong province, 36 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 31 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 26 in Heilongjiang province, 18 in Sichuan province, 15 in Chongqing municipality, 10 in Beijing municipality, 10 in Shanxi province, 9 in Yunnan province, 6 in Liaoning province, 6 in Zhejiang province, 5 in Shaanxi province, 4 in Jiangsu province, 4 in Fujian province, 3 in Shandong province, 3 in Hunan province, 3 in Guizhou province, 2 in Henan province, 2 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Tianjin municipality and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region). 57,929 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 1.

As of 24:00 on Oct 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 25,511 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 24,933 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 578 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Oct 25, the National Health Commission had received reports of 258,167 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 249,236 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 3,705 confirmed cases (including 19 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 7,360,294 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 474,894 were still under medical observation.

On Oct 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 1,069 new asymptomatic cases (125 imported cases; 944 indigenous cases, 129 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 92 in Shanxi province, 87 in Qinghai province, 80 in Fujian province, 79 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 67 in Guangdong province, 62 in Hunan province, 57 in Shandong province, 45 in Shaanxi province, 41 in Sichuan province, 32 in Hubei province, 26 in Yunnan province, 21 in Henan province, 20 in Jiangsu province, 18 in Shanghai municipality, 16 in Tianjin municipality, 14 in Gansu province, 12 in Chongqing municipality, 8 in Anhui province, 7 in Hebei province, 7 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 7 in Tibet autonomous region, 6 in Heilongjiang province, 4 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 3 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Liaoning province, 1 in Beijing municipality and 1 in Jiangxi province).

On Oct 25, 658 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (98 imported cases; 560 indigenous cases, 114 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 82 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 36 in Sichuan province, 31 in Yunnan province, 27 in Shaanxi province, 25 in Shanghai municipality, 22 in Jiangsu province, 22 in Chongqing municipality, 20 in Guangdong province, 19 in Anhui province, 19 in Gansu province, 18 in Shanxi province, 17 in Tianjin municipality, 16 in Heilongjiang province, 15 in Hubei province, 13 in Hebei province, 13 in Tibet autonomous region, 10 in Shandong province, 7 in Hunan province, 7 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 6 in Zhejiang province, 6 in Henan province, 4 in Jilin province, 4 in Guizhou province, 3 in Liaoning province, 2 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 1 in Fujian province and 1 in Hainan province). 14 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 3 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Oct 25, 15,493 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,094 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Oct 25, 7,947,004 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 430,581 in Hong Kong (10,343 had died and 90,145 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 793 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,515,630 in Taiwan (12,427 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
