On Oct 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 211 new cases of confirmed infections (47 imported cases, 14 in Guangdong province, 12 in Fujian province, 7 in Sichuan province, 5 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and 1 in Yunnan province, including 4 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 2 in Guangdong province, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and 1 in Sichuan province; 164 indigenous cases, 29 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 26 in Guangdong province, 25 in Shaanxi province, 14 in Beijing municipality, 12 in Shanxi province, 11 in Jiangsu province, 8 in Zhejiang province, 7 in Henan province, 7 in Hunan province, 6 in Chongqing municipality, 6 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 4 in Sichuan province, 3 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Yunnan province, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and 1 in Tibet autonomous region, including 20 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 4 in Jiangsu province, 4 in Shaanxi province, 3 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Chongqing municipality, 1 in Shanxi province and 1 in Hunan province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On Oct 19, 305 patients were released from hospital after being cured (59 imported cases; 246 indigenous cases, 51 in Guangdong province, 47 in Guizhou province, 37 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 27 in Sichuan province, 21 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 9 in Shanxi province, 7 in Liaoning province, 7 in Jiangsu province, 6 in Chongqing municipality, 6 in Shaanxi province, 5 in Beijing municipality, 5 in Tianjin municipality, 5 in Yunnan province, 3 in Hainan province, 2 in Henan province, 2 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 2 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 1 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Zhejiang province and 1 in Hunan province). 60,973 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases decreased by 1.

As of 24:00 on Oct 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 25,217 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 24,594 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 623 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Oct 19, the National Health Commission had received reports of 256,726 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 247,282 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 4,218 confirmed cases (including 13 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 6,995,430 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 467,140 were still under medical observation.

On Oct 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 751 new asymptomatic cases (108 imported cases; 643 indigenous cases, 121 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 58 in Guangdong province, 53 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 50 in Shaanxi province, 45 in Yunnan province, 39 in Hunan province, 38 in Sichuan province, 30 in Hubei province, 27 in Tianjin municipality, 21 in Zhejiang province, 19 in Chongqing municipality, 18 in Hebei province, 18 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 17 in Jiangsu province, 17 in Henan province, 15 in Shandong province, 15 in Gansu province, 10 in Shanghai municipality, 6 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 5 in Anhui province, 5 in Jiangxi province, 4 in Beijing municipality, 4 in Guizhou province, 3 in Liaoning province, 2 in Shanxi province, 2 in Tibet autonomous region and 1 in Qinghai province).

On Oct 19, 642 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (78 imported cases; 564 indigenous cases, 132 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 93 in Guizhou province, 37 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 28 in Tianjin municipality, 28 in Shanghai municipality, 28 in Hubei province, 27 in Shanxi province, 24 in Jiangsu province, 23 in Anhui province, 17 in Shaanxi province, 15 in Hebei province, 14 in Tibet autonomous region, 12 in Gansu province, 11 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 10 in Heilongjiang province, 10 in Henan province, 10 in Sichuan province, 9 in Guangdong province, 9 in Yunnan province, 8 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 6 in Jilin province, 4 in Hunan province, 3 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Shandong province, 2 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Jiangxi province). 24 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 4 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Oct 19, 15,765 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 991 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Oct 19, 7,729,546 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 426,565 in Hong Kong (10,297 had died and 88,853 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 793 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,302,188 in Taiwan (12,036 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
