Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, enjoys a reputation for being "A City of Education" – with developed elementary education and vocational education, offering the training of a large number of high-quality professionals for the efficient development of industry there.
At present, Taizhou has more than seven universities and vocational colleges, providing 165 undergraduate programs and 106 junior college programs, with an enrollment of about 70,000 students. About 20,000 graduates each year major in electro mechanics, electronics, computers and biomedicines.
