Baotou takes measures to speed up development

According to the Baotou major project promotion meeting held from Nov 10 to 12, the construction of major projects in Baotou has picked up pace.

The data shows that since the start of this year, 525 industrial projects worth more than 100 million yuan ($14.22 million) have been started in the city, 531 will be started this year, 120 have been completed and put into operation, and 257 will be put into operation within the year.

The city has attracted a number of leading enterprises in the wind power equipment manufacturing industry to cooperate in building a whole industry chain base for wind power equipment. The average investment and output value of the intelligent manufacturing new generation semiconductor integrated circuit chip industry project of Weir Holding Group Co were the highest in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

After on-site observation, the city held a summary meeting, announced the evaluation results, and described the next step.

The evaluation focuses on banners, counties, and districts, measuring how many new projects worth more than 100 million yuan they have, the speed and quality at which they complete projects, and how responsive they are to enterprise needs.

The city believes that as long as project construction is prioritized, it will be able to make historic achievements.
