Over the past decade, China has made vigorous efforts to improve its environment. In that time, the country has increased its ecological protection efforts to treat blue skies, lucid waters and lush mountains as precious resources.
In 2020, China took another resolute step forward by announcing it would peak its carbon emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060, taking clear responsibility to curb the effects of climate change.
