China's new yuan loans up in September

BEIJING - China's new yuan-denominated loans increased by 2.47 trillion yuan ($347.5 billion) in September, central bank data showed Tuesday.

The M2, a broad measure of money supply that covers cash in circulation and all deposits, increased 12.1 percent year-on-year to 262.66 trillion yuan at the end of last month, according to the People's Bank of China.
