On Oct 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 491 new cases of confirmed infections (64 imported cases, 27 in Guangdong province, 15 in Fujian province, 5 in Jiangsu province, 3 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Shandong province, 2 in Sichuan province and 1 in Zhejiang province, including 14 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 6 in Guangdong province, 3 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Shandong province, 2 in Sichuan province and 1 in Zhejiang province; 427 indigenous cases, 145 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 82 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 38 in Guangdong province, 26 in Chongqing municipality, 18 in Sichuan province, 16 in Shanxi province, 13 in Beijing municipality, 12 in Henan province, 11 in Liaoning province, 11 in Yunnan province, 10 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 9 in Shaanxi province, 7 in Zhejiang province, 6 in Fujian province, 5 in Hunan province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 4 in Jiangsu province, 4 in Tibet autonomous region, 3 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Anhui province, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Guizhou province, including 100 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 47 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 10 in Guangdong province, 7 in Sichuan province, 6 in Henan province, 5 in Zhejiang province, 5 in Chongqing municipality, 4 in Liaoning province, 4 in Fujian province, 4 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 3 in Hunan province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Yunnan province and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On Oct 10, 273 patients were released from hospital after being cured (66 imported cases; 207 indigenous cases, 61 in Sichuan province, 38 in Guizhou province, 36 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 23 in Guangdong province, 13 in Tibet autonomous region, 11 in Heilongjiang province, 6 in Tianjin municipality, 5 in Yunnan province, 4 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Shaanxi province, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Hainan province and 1 in Chongqing municipality). 25,341 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases decreased by 1.

As of 24:00 on Oct 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 24,725 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 24,081 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 644 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Oct 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 254,066 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 244,736 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 4,104 confirmed cases (including 11 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 6,414,753 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 318,670 were still under medical observation.

On Oct 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 1,758 new asymptomatic cases (96 imported cases; 1,662 indigenous cases, 637 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 375 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 177 in Sichuan province, 55 in Gansu province, 39 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 37 in Yunnan province, 29 in Hubei province, 26 in Henan province, 25 in Guangdong province, 24 in Shanghai municipality, 24 in Chongqing municipality, 23 in Jiangsu province, 21 in Shanxi province, 21 in Tibet autonomous region, 20 in Anhui province, 18 in Hebei province, 18 in Liaoning province, 17 in Shandong province, 16 in Hunan province, 15 in Shaanxi province, 14 in Jilin province, 7 in Tianjin municipality, 6 in Heilongjiang province, 6 in Zhejiang province, 6 in Guizhou province, 3 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 2 in Fujian province and 1 in Beijing municipality).

On Oct 10, 900 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (76 imported cases; 824 indigenous cases, 235 in Tibet autonomous region, 190 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 129 in Guizhou province, 115 in Heilongjiang province, 39 in Sichuan province, 20 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 13 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 12 in Tianjin municipality, 11 in Guangdong province, 9 in Hebei province, 9 in Henan province, 6 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 6 in Yunnan province, 6 in Qinghai province, 5 in Jiangsu province, 5 in Shaanxi province, 4 in Gansu province, 3 in Shandong province, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Jilin province, 1 in Anhui province, 1 in Hainan province and 1 in Chongqing municipality). 114 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 14 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Oct 10, 12,828 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 884 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Oct 10, 7,324,685 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 420,282 in Hong Kong (10,228 had died and 86,886 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 793 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 6,903,610 in Taiwan (11,584 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
