Here is a blue-and-white underglazed red ceramic granary dating back to the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). It is unique in that it is the only double-eave hip-roof pavilion structure found so far decorated with four kinds of glaze, representing the superb craft of the period.
Abundant epigraphy on the granary reveals the tomb owner’s identity and records local history and folk culture.
Excavated from the Ling’s tomb in the suburb of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, in 1974, the ceramic granary is in the permanent collection of the Jiangxi Provincial Museum.
