Documentary miniseries Flavor of Beijing was released on Friday in Beijing, telling the capital's story through multiple perspectives to the world.
The 30-episode series will take the audience on a journey exploring Beijing, presenting the capital city in a down-to-earth and authentic way, showing the richness and development of the city.
Each episode, lasting four to five minutes, focuses on one topic of Beijing, including the cultural heritage, ecological development, preservation of the old town and the construction of the international consumption center.
Xu Hejian, spokesman of Beijing municipal government, said that he hoped the audience can experience the ancient and modern coexistence of Beijing and the documentary can let more people from different countries to better know the city.
