Rudong, a county in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, inaugurated its talent center in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu, on Aug 7.
The talent center is expected to work with universities and research institutes in Nanjing to attract high-caliber talent and all kinds of resources to Rudong and boost the county's high-quality development.
To achieve its target, the talent center will organize job fairs and venture contests as well as offer training sessions and services including policy consultations and legal services to talent who intend to work in Rudong.
"Rudong is faced with multiple national strategies, including the Belt and Road Initiative, the integration of the Yangtze River Delta region, and the coastal development in Jiangsu," said Chen Leixi, head of Rudong county, at the inauguration ceremony.
Chen added that Rudong boasts bright prospects and huge development potential.
He also expressed hope that the talent center will become a bridge connecting Rudong with outstanding professionals outside the county and promote Rudong's favorable business environment.
The Nanjing Rudong Talent Center also signed cooperation agreements with Nanjing University of Technology and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications after the inauguration ceremony.
In recent years, Rudong county has brought in 493 high-level talents, including 60 top national talents.
