KPMG, one of the Big Four accounting organizations in the world, will build a presence in Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, or Xinwu district, Wuxi, Jiangsu province.
The news was released at a signing ceremony between Xinwu and KPMG on Sept 20.
According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides will work together to establish an industrial cluster and innovation center and to promote the development of capital markets.
KPMG has built branches and offices in 144 countries and regions and has more than 230,000 staff members around the world.
In China, KPMG has set up offices in 30 cities and attracted over 14,000 partners and employees. The firm has provided audit, tax and advisory services to many of the country's renowned enterprises, including those in leading industries.
For a long time, KPMG has paid close attention to the development of Wuxi and Xinwu and maintained frequent contact with Xinwu.
