SND, Wuzhong district agree on coordinated development

Wuzhong district and Suzhou New District in East China's Jiangsu province signed agreements on the coordinated development of scientific and technological innovation, transportation, culture, tourism, and urban management on Sept 2, local media outlets reported.

The two sides will mainly work together on the establishment of the Around Taihu Lake Scientific Innovation Circle, a number of industrial innovation clusters, and the protection of Taihu Lake's environment and ecosystem.

For example, biopharmaceuticals are a pillar industry of both places. They will center on industrial chains, supply chains, talent chains and innovation chains so as to deepen cooperation and exchanges in modern industrial structure, scientific and technological innovation, and talent introduction and cultivation, share innovation resources, and develop a platform operated by the two sides.

Benefiting from geographical proximity to each other, Wuzhong and SND have since ancient times enjoyed close ties in economic and cultural development.
