The National Ballet of China will perform the Red Detachment of Women at the Nantong Grand Theater in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Oct 21 and 22. The ballet first premiered in 1964 and is considered a classic among China’s original ballet productions, offering a perfect fusion of dance from the East and West.
