By 2019, railyways in Zibo reached 457 kilometers in total - 58.1 km in high-speed railway operation - linking Zibo with Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai in the province to the east, Jinan in the province, Zhengzhou in Henan province and Xi'an in Shaanxi province to the west, Nanjing in Jiangsu province, Shanghai and Guangzhou in Guangdong province in the south, and Shijiaizhuang in Hebei province and Beijing, the capital of China in the north.

Zibo Railway Station locates in the city's Zhangdian district and is next to Zibo Bus Station.
