A 3,900-square-meter exhibition on advanced technologies will open during the upcoming 10th Forum on China-ASEAN Technology Transfer and Collaborative Innovation, which is scheduled to take place both virtual and onsite in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, from Sept 15 to 19.
Highlights indicate that 105 exhibitors will bring 274 new technologies, products, business models, and expected outcomes that are exclusively achieved through sci-tech innovation and cooperation with ASEAN, covering areas of the digital economy, big data application, biomedical health care, modern agriculture, renewable energy, and environmental protection.
The Ministry of Science and Technology and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will host the forum. It is organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the China-ASEAN Technology Transfer Center. This year's forum will be on "digital technology + big health."
The Ministry of Science and Technology will unveil the China-ASEAN sci-tech innovation upgrading project in Nanning. This project is essential in increasing the innovation of sci-tech cooperation between China and the ASEAN members.
The ministry will launch 1,000 selected technologies for the first time at this year's event. These newly-selected technologies will adhere to ASEAN countries' important economic industries and are proper for fostering growth throughout ASEAN countries.
The first international innovation and entrepreneurship competition held by the Ministry of Science and Technology and ASEAN will occur during the forum. This competition aims to be the most significant event, accompanied by the highest quality and participation in ASEAN.
