Baotou ensures production, investment

All enterprises in Baotou have accelerated production and contributed to the city's steady economic development.

"At present, the daily output of iron concentrate powder is about 2,200 metric tons, 80 percent of the annual target. We are confident we can achieve an annual output of 550,000 tons," said Wang Jun, deputy manager of Baotou Jidong Cement Co.

In Baotou, various enterprises are speeding up production, while relevant departments and parks are contributing to the steady development of Baotou's economy.

On Oct 21, the municipal bureau of commerce held an online investment promotion conference for South Korea, which invited more than 50 Korean business institutions, representatives of business associations, and representatives of key enterprises.

The bureau introduced the regional profile, industrial base, investment direction, advantages, policy support, and talent security, among other things, aiming to expand foreign enterprises' investment package.

Additionally, the management committee of Jiuyuan (International) Logistics Park recently visited the enterprise to learn about its storage capacity, and promptly solved the inventory backlog problem.

At the same time, since the end of September, Baotou has made the necessary preparations to export inoculants to South Korea and mining engineering vehicles to Mongolia.
